Congratulations to Alexandria Tsamis, who has been named Class of 2020 Valedictorian, as well as Hannah Richards and Alyssa Pacatte, who have been named Class of 2020 Salutatorians.

AlexandriaAlexandria is the daughter of Lefteri Tsamis and Jennifer Fernandez.  She is a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.  Alexandria has participated in Varsity Track (outdoor), JV and Varsity Soccer, as well as the Yearbook Club and Peer Tutoring.

Alexandria has been a 4H Legislative Intern and a summer intern at Sterling Insurance Company.  In addition, she has worked with the Youth Ministry through her church.

Siena College is where Alexandria plans to study Political Science in the fall.

AlyssaAlyssa is the daughter of Ross and Kelly Pacatte.  She is a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.  Alyssa is a member of Future Business Leaders of America, Art Club and Varsity Club.  Alyssa is also the co-founder of Agents of Positive Change and part of the Prom Planning Committee.

In addition to her academics, clubs and committees, Alyssa participates in indoor soccer and referees summer soccer, was employed at the Studio for Art and Craft, and is member of the Girl Scouts.

Future plans for Alyssa are to attend Pace University to study Childhood Education with a concentration in Spanish.

HannahHannah is the daughter of Raymond and Giselle Richards. She is a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.  Hannah has participated in many clubs, including Environmental Science Club, FCCLA, FFA and Newspaper Club. She also was a member of the JV and Varsity Soccer teams.

Hannah is very involved in music. Over her high school career, she has performed with the Band, Chorus, Select Choir and Choral Drama Club.  In addition, Hannah participated in several ensembles with All-County Choir and Band, Area All-State Choir and Band, Hartwick Honor Band, and NYSSMA.  She is also a two-time winner of the SVCB Donald Webster Solo Festival.  Outside of school, Hannah volunteers with Kids’ Church and Nursery at her church and her community food pantry.

Hannah plans to attend SUNY Oneonta to study Early Childhood and Childhood Education in the fall.
